Eligibility for Admission:

Candidates with at least 50% Marks (for Genearal and OBC Category Candidates and 45% markes for SC and ST Candidates) either in Bachelor Degree and /or in Master Degree or any other Qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. A candidate for admission to B.Ed. course in the Faculty of Education has to appear in the B.Ed Entrance Examination conducted by the H. N. B. Garhwal (A-Central) University for that academic year.

Reservation:-

Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC and Handicapped will be as per existing Central Government / University rules.

Duration of the Programme:

The B. Ed. Programme will be of four semesters spread over two years duration (100 working days per semester exclusive of the period of admission and examination).

Medium of Instruction:

The medium of instruction will be English and Hindi for all courses. Medium of examination shall be English or Hindi.

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with English as a subject with minimum of 40% of marks in aggregate. Admission are available on the basis of personal interview and percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.

B.Sc. Home Science is a 3 year course that emphasizes scientific learning of subjects like nutrition, dietetics, human development, home economics, textile, and fashion designing, communication and extension education that helps to find jobs as Dietician, Govt Teacher, Jobs in Garment Industry,  

Journalism, NGO's and various other industries.

This stream actually acts as an umbrella for various specialized courses like food and nutrition, dietetics, home management, human development, fashion designing, etc. for future studies

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics Chemistry Biology as subjects with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate. Admission is available on the basis of a personal interview and the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
